6 tips for planning your visit to the farmers market

These are just a few ways to maximize your trip to our market. If you have questions or need any type of assistance at the market, please find our team at the information booth or email us in advance.

  1. Make a shopping list, but be flexible.

Buying what’s available and in season helps our local growers. Ask vendors for advice on how to cook or use their products. They are knowledgeable and passionate resources!

  2. Bring a tote bag or a cooler.

We have reusable bags available at our info booth in case you forget, and you can even donate one if you have extra at home.

  3. Well-behaved dogs on leash are welcomed.

Be responsible for their behavior or you may be asked to leave.

4. Drop off at the entrance and park around the corner.

Parking is limited in our hamlets. If you can, leave parking by the entrance available for shoppers with limited mobility.

5. We’re open rain or shine!

Plan for the weather and dress accordingly. For chilly/rainy days, pack an extra sweater, bring an umbrella, wear your rain boots or a rain coat. On hot, sunny days, bring a water bottle and wear a hat.

6. The market is better with friends.

Carpool with your neighbor or make plans to meet up at the market. Eat lunch, shop for groceries, grab a coffee, listen to music, and get to know other people who love food.
